Welcome home

I have big news to share, albeit a month and a half late: I got a job!!

I am now the Web Content Specialist at Centerstone. That's right, Centerstone, the company that I previously worked for before my big European adventure.

The decision to apply for the position wasn't easy, but I decided to take advantage of my knowledge of the company and everything I learned when I was there before to move forward with this newly created position with the web team. Although I'm working with the same Marketing and PR team that I know and love from my 1.5 years with Centerstone, I have a totally new set of responsibilities and challenges.

As Web Content Specialist, my main responsibility is the company's intranet, which means I write news stories, update forms and other content, and other good stuff for the website that Centerstone staff use every day. I also run Centerstone's facebook and twitter accounts. It's fun and challenging work, and I'm always learning something new.

Everyone at the office has been so sweet in welcoming me back, and I can't say how glad I am to get to work with such a great bunch. I'll never forget stopping by the office after I accepted the offer and my old boss giving me a huge hug and saying, "Welcome home!"

I'm blessed.
